JANUARY
Annual Great Southern Gumbo Cook-off in the town of Sandestin. Live Cajun music and tasty gumbo from a dozen local restaurants.
FEBRUARY
Annual Sweetheart Gala & Auction in Sandestin an evening of music and dancing, and delicious hors d'oeuvres.
MARCH
Blues by the Beach Unique festival in Sandestin features a variety of bluegrass bands. Free admission.
Habitrot Fun Run & Walk Annual event to support Habitat for Humanity.
APRIL
Seabreeze Jazz Festival in the town of Santa Rosa
Sandestin Wine Festival Held at Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin, this event is one of the leading wine festivals of the region.
JUNE
Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic at Sandestin In 2006, over one million dollars was awarded to winners of this World Billfish Series -sanctioned event. Fishing tournament plus live entertainment and activities for children.
OCTOBER
Southern Breeze Wine Festival
Held in the town of Rosemary Beach this event includes a guest winemaker, tastings, lectures and a Gulf Side Walk About Brunch. Phone 800-239-9880
Annual Canines on the Catwalk Awards for Best Costume, Best Talent and Best Personality. Proceeds benefit the Community Animal Rescue Effort in Sandestin.
South Walton Community Yardsale Held in Seaside, this event has become one of the top attractions in the fall. More than 200 vendors fill the downtown area.
Oktober Fest in Sandestin Authentic German cuisine, beer tasting and special German beers, college football on a big screen.
Back to Nature Festival All the Beaches of South Walton communities participate in this weekend of hiking, kayaking and birdwatching lead by local experts.

Seaside ( Seeing Red ) Wine Festival
